The Jacket represents where our program has come in the past six years. It was our first piece of apparel we received as a program.
It is given to the person who has contributed to the team in a positive manner. It may not be because they scored the most goals or made the most saves. It is given to the player who has done what they needed to do to improve their play day to day, someone who is working hard in practice and games...maybe its a bench player who may only see the field for a few moments in a game but is the most positive player and takes every opportunity to seize the moment when they are on the field.
Courtney Burke sports "The Jacket" after the Marian game. Courtney has been a team player all season. She has come into games ready to go. Making key plays and working hard every time she steps on the field. She is working hard in practice and is a positive influence in the locker room and on the field. Great job Courtney!
Bridget Delaney wears "The Jacket" next. She has had two incredible games in a row...first the AC game at the pit where she sported a .786 save % and then vs AP a .643%. She only allowed 8 goals during these two games. She will tell you that her team was the reason...and they certainly helped but she was rock solid in these two HUGE CCL battles!
Emily Casper will show off "The Jacket" next. Emily is one of the hardest workers and most respected players on the team. Every game she is giving her all. She has jumped into a starting role for the Bishops this year and has been doing a great job.
Kiera Dwyer don's "The Jacket" next. She has worked extremely hard this year and as a Freshman has started in 3 games. She is always at the ready to come into any game and contribute in many ways. She is a great team player and will be a huge part of the Lady Bishops continued success...today and into the future.
